For homeowners · Toronto and the GTA
Porch, steps, driveway, walkway, garage or basement. Repair it, resurface it or replace it.
Toronto Concrete Repairs does all three for homes across Toronto and the GTA, so your quote comes back with two or three priced options and an honest word on which one your concrete actually needs.
Where we work around your home
Each one has its own page with real jobs, what it typically costs and how long it takes. Not sure which? Text three photos and we'll point you to the right one.

Crumbling edges, loose treads, sinking landings. Repaired in a day or rebuilt.

Cracked, sunken or flaking. Most can be saved; the rest we pour new.

Trip hazards levelled, worn paths resurfaced, new patios poured.

Cracks and slippery surfaces repaired and finished so they grip when wet.

Pitted, dusty, oil stained or cracked. Fix the slab, then coat it.

Dusting slabs and damp floors repaired, sealed, polished or coated.

Overlays, Graniflex and stamped looks over concrete you already have.

Loose, cracked or uneven stone reset and repaired on porches and paths.
Three ways to fix concrete
Most contractors do one of these, so that's what they recommend. We do all three, which is why your quote shows the options side by side.
When the base is solid and the damage is local
Cracks opened, filled and sealed. Spalled edges rebuilt. Sunken sections lifted. Usually one to two days, nothing torn out, a fraction of replacement.
Concrete repairWhen it's sound underneath but tired on top
A new surface over the concrete you have: overlay, coating or Graniflex. One uniform finish, no demolition, and the look of new for far less.
Concrete resurfacingWhen the base has failed or there's nothing left to bond to
Old concrete out, proper base in, new concrete formed, reinforced and finished. Porches, steps, driveways, walkways, pads and slabs.
Concrete replacementAlso for homes: epoxy flooring, polished concrete, concrete overlays, coatings and sealers and new concrete.
Real homes
The same concrete in every pair. One was repaired, one was resurfaced, one was rebuilt. Each card says which.

I want to thank the people at Toronto Concrete for taking our front porch from frumpy to fabulous. Conscientious and in a timely manner. They were a pleasure to deal with.

Top to bottom professionalism. Starting with Hubert at the initial consultation, then scheduling with Deborah was a breeze and a pleasure. And when it came time for the actual work, Sergey and his assistant were top tier.

My 70-year-old garage floor was a broken dusty wreck. They meticulously prepped and poured the new floor. It looked amazing, only to be made more amazing with the epoxy sealer.
Our work

Questions
Porches and steps, driveways, walkways and sidewalks, patios, pool decks, garage floors and basement floors. We also do epoxy and polyaspartic coatings, polished concrete, overlays, sealers and new concrete pours. If it's concrete and it's at a house, it's normal work for us.
It depends on what's underneath. If the base is solid and the damage is on the surface, repair or resurfacing is the honest answer and costs a fraction of a rebuild. If the slab has broken through, sunk because the base washed out, or pulled away from the house, replacement is the right call. We do all three, so our recommendation isn't shaped by what we're set up to do, and your quote shows the options side by side.
Full removal and replacement runs about $30 per square foot. Large new pours where we only place and finish run about $15 per square foot. Repair and resurfacing cost a fraction of replacement because nothing is torn out. Every job is priced in writing from photos or a site visit, with your price held for 21 days.
Every job carries a written warranty and the terms are in your quote before you sign. Standard industry warranty on new concrete, three to five years on overlays, and limited lifetime coverage on concrete coatings.
Most repairs and resurfacing are one to two days on site. A porch or steps rebuild is typically two to three days. A full driveway replacement runs three to five days depending on size. Cure times before you can walk or drive on it are spelled out in your quote.
Exterior work runs from roughly April through November, when temperatures stay reliably above freezing. Interior work such as basement floors, garage floors and epoxy coatings carries on year round.
Yes. We carry full liability insurance and WSIB coverage, and certificates are available on request. Most repairs and resurfacing don't need a permit. New pours and structural changes sometimes do, and we have experience working within City of Toronto and GTA permit requirements and bylaws.
