Toronto Concrete Repair did a beautiful job replacing a portion of a concrete walkway. Hubert, Bobby and Nick and his team were very professional and pleasant to deal with. They spent time assessing and quoting the job and did the work as quoted, including explaining what they were doing and asking for direction when needed. The work was done in the time they estimated. Nick and his on-site team were professional, courteous and friendly. They did a good job cleaning up, the finished work was inspected and the job was invoiced at the quoted price. In a world where contractors are starting to give estimates via photos and video calls Hubert from TCR came out personally with a business card and gave a thorough HONEST quote in person. We are new home owners and had already made the mistake of going with bad contractors when we first renovated our basement but we were glad of our second choice. Hubert's team came in and went above and beyond to rip up existing flooring and concrete and fix the basement floor that was bubbling and damp in many spots. Always punctual, always hardworking, and always in communication truly these guys were a dream (even helped me shovel out of a snow storm and fix an outdoor lamp). Very happy with the new basement epoxy floor and stairs. I honestly wish they did more than concrete repair I would hire them for any/everything that needed to be done in the house. I would hire them again without thinking twice. Truly hope this review helps to sway anyone that is on the fence as Toronto needs more businesses like this one.

Special Thanks goes out to Hubert who was Honest, Professional and a Total Gentleman from start to finish. Hubert made all the right suggestions on how to beautify our backyard pool deck by recommending a Graniflex application over our worn concreate deck. I couldn't believe how many steps were involved in transforming the pool deck into a beautiful oasis which took on the look of a sandy beach in the Caribbean. Hubert's team did an outstanding job and special mention of the work done by PK must be highlighted for working so hard during the entire project; he is definitely a perfectionist. He would work from morning to late evening to make sure the job was done right and we are so appreciative for all he did...a true artist. All the cracks and uneven areas of the deck disappeared after each stage of the project. Hubert was extremely efficient from the moment we contacted his company regarding a quote , he came the next day for a site inspection at 730 am on a Saturday morning. y garage floor was cracked and sank more than 4 – 6 inches in few spots, so I needed complete replace of cement slab. I could not have been happier to give simply 10 out of 10 rating for Toronto Concrete Repairs overall work and performance. Response from customer support (Agnes and Monica) was fast and straight forward. Based on approximate quotation for standard garage size concrete replacement job, we were happy to schedule a site visit. Next day Hubert and Martin measured the garage and gave me exactly same, very good discounted price as I got over the phone. Next I had one day to clean up garage to make space. Hubert, Martin and Paul showed up following two days, right on time, at 8:00 am. They came up with all required tools and did fast, clean and very professional work on removing old concrete, add gravel, level and compact it, put vapor barrier and wire mesh, hire concrete mixer truck, pour concrete and level it perfectly. The site was thoroughly cleaned after every step and when the project was finished. Hubert, Martin and Paul did super good work, answered all my questions and were very keen in following their high quality standards. At the end I got a thicker concrete slab than standard for basically best price. Overall, this project which I’ve delayed for more than 10 years was done in three days from initial site visit. Huge “Thank You” to Hubert and his team for taking on a project that many contractors felt was too messy of a job. I needed to finish a basement renovation ~ 600 sq ft. My basement was partially finished with a very uneven (2-3 inch difference in some corners) exposed concrete floor. I also wanted to maximize the basement ceiling height and asked for solutions without having to go through underpinning. I went through multiple quote from contractors, did my due diligence in asking the right questions. I do my research on what the project entails. When I contacted Hubert, he was quick at getting back to me, accommodated the quote appointment time with my schedule. He came back with one of the contractors (Paul) to provide me solutions for the messy uneven floor. I chose to go with Hubert and his team, as I felt they gave me honest advice no wishy-washy answers, as opposed to the other quotes I got. The team was great, I travel for work, to keep me up to date on the project progress, while I was traveling, they would send me daily pictures, which gave me a great piece of mind. I was very satisfied with their work. In the end I was able to gain about 3-4 inches of ceiling height. The team dag out 2 bins of soil by hand, re-poured the concrete floor and finished the rest of the basement. I’m so happy how the floors turned out. We found Toronto Concrete Repairs here on HomeStars and called for a free estimate. We needed help with several hairline cracks and one larger one on our verandah which caused leaks into our cold cellar when raining or snowing. Our rusty, peeling, iron railings were also in need of work. Both Hubert and Paul are very pleasant to deal with, answered all questions to our satisfaction, explained all the choices available, and showed us samples of refinishing choices. They got to work quickly and removed the previous surface on the cement; treated the bottom of the railing posts to prevent future rust deposits on the verandah surface; scraped the rust away from the railings and repainted them; repainted the section by the stairs so it would coordinate in colour with everything else; repaired the one serious crack (the others turned out to be just in the polarcrete covering, not into the concrete base); put a wonderful new surface on our verandah. It looks greatl and we are receiving many compliments on how it looks. We are very happy and pleased with it and with them! I recommend Hubert and Paul most highly. They are very personable, work hard, make sure everything is understood, patiently answer all questions, and are very particular that their work is done well and to their exacting standards. We enjoyed meeting them; were happy to have found them; are full of praise for their work and attention to detail. We recommend them most highly!

Garage floor repair/replacement and fence repair

My garage floor had extensive cracks and as a result, the central portion of it sank more than 6 inches over time, so it needed a complete tear and replace. Hubert and Paul had great reviews on Homestars and provided a very competitive quote, but more importantly made sure I was assured the work would be done properly and without taking shortcuts. They were able to fit in the work in a matter of days and once they started, they were all done on the day 3 of work, as promised. They even needed to spend much more concrete than usual, but assured me there would be no additional cost because of it. They took extra care in preparing the surface prior to pouring the concrete, patched the suspicious spots in the foundation to be sure no water comes from outside, helped with removing large items from the garage, relayed the interlock tiles all around the garage walls to slope them away from the garage and filled in with the polymeric sand to keep water away from it and properly sloped the concrete slab. While doing this work, I also asked them for a quote on repairing a couple of wooden fence posts damaged by winds and they provided reasonable one, so I ended up doing that repair with them, too at the same time. That work was done very well , too (another person came for that work), the old posts and concrete bases were taken out, the wholes were dag out and new concrete was poured quickly and in about a day, the posts and fence were fixed and back like new. I was quite happy with the whole process, the timeliness, quality of work, cleanup of the site and how my concerns were handled throughout. Hubert made sure I was completely happy and he and Paul were quite fun to work with.

I had concrete repairs at my house in toronto and it came out perfect.The winter lifted a section. I read the reviews on Home Stars and I liked what I heard about them and I felt confident about hiring them. There price was a bit high but I rather pay a few dollars more than having a nightmare on my hands.What I liked the most was that, they protected all adjacent pavement to there working areas with boards. I hired Toronto Concrete Repairs for a small repair in my garage an area of approximate 5′ by 4′. There price was a little expensive but I wanted a proffesional job so I didnt mind spending a few bucks more. Andy the owner came over and another came and did the job. The entire team at Toronto Concrete Repairs was fantastic to work with! They worked fast and clearly professional. I had old cement removed from a two car garage and driveway.
